DJI, the leader in consumer drones, has launched a smart TV for streaming your footage captured from DJI drones and cameras. The app, available for smart TV platforms like Samsung Tizen TVs and Apple TV, includes support for aerial content and 4K videos captured on various DJI devices.
“We’ve made flying and capturing aerial footage easy with our drones, and now with the DJI Smart TV App, creators will have more ways to share their work with the world. This is really an opportunity for people to be inspired, intrigued, travel to places they would have never imagined and see the world in a whole new way,” said Paul Pan, Senior Product Manager, for DJI in a press release.
The app further parallels DJI and GoPro. The American camera company, which launched its first drone last year, has its own channel for viewing captured footage on a multitude of devices. Now, DJI wants in on the video business too.
